• Poinsettia's like lots of bright, indirect sunlight.
• They prefer humid conditions (they are a tropical); if you keep your home rather warm you may need to mist the leaves occasionally.
• Keep your poinsettia evenly moist, but not wet. Never, ever allow your poinsettia to sit in water after you water it. Always drain the saucer or let it sit in the sink while the water drains through.
• Don't place your poinsettia next to a cold or hot draft. In other words, keep them away from exterior doors and heat vents.
• Your poinsettia actually prefers daytime temps of about 65⁰  and a night time temperature of around 60⁰ .
